Installation Guide – Beige Diamond Polished Marble Pencil Liner

Step 1 — Surface Preparation

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or debris.
Mark a straight guideline using a level or laser for precise placement.
Install the pencil liner after field tiles to function as a decorative or transitional accent.

Step 2 — Dry Layout & Measurement

Lay out the pencil liners without adhesive to check color, veining, and alignment.
Trim pieces to size using a wet saw with a fine diamond blade.
Verify fit, especially around corners or between decorative elements.

Step 3 — Adhesive Application

Apply white thin-set mortar to the back of each piece using a margin trowel.
Press the liner firmly into place along the guideline and adjust gently for perfect alignment.
Use painter’s tape or temporary supports to hold pieces while the adhesive cures (approx. 24 hours).

Step 4 — Grouting

For narrow joints, use unsanded grout to prevent scratching the polished surface.
Remove excess grout promptly with a damp sponge and buff lightly once dry.

Step 5 — Sealing

After the grout has cured (about 72 hours), apply a high-quality penetrating sealer suitable for marble.
Reapply periodically to maintain protection against stains and moisture.

Clean using pH-neutral stone cleaners only.
Wipe with soft cloths to maintain polish and prevent etching.
Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can damage the marble surface.
