Follow these steps to ensure a safe, durable, and visually appealing installation of your Avalon White Sandblasted Marble Pavers.

1. Surface Preparation

• Excavate the installation area to the required depth.

• Create a stable, level, and well-compacted base using sand, gravel, or crushed stone for outdoor applications.

• Ensure proper drainage to prevent water pooling under the pavers.

2. Dry Layout

• Lay out the pavers dry to visualize your design and reduce the need for cuts.

• Use this step to balance color variations and pattern alignment, especially for layouts like French Pattern or herringbone.

3. Cutting

• Use a wet saw with a diamond blade rated for marble for precise cuts.

• Wear appropriate protective gear and ensure a safe, well-ventilated cutting area.

4. Setting the Pavers

• Install pavers using either:

  • Sand-set method: ideal for patios and walkways.

  • Mortar bed: recommended for high-traffic or exposed areas.

• Tap each paver gently with a rubber mallet to ensure firm contact with the base.

• Maintain consistent joint spacing of 1/8″–1/4″.

5. Joint Filling

• Fill joints with fine sand or polymeric sand to lock pavers in place.

• Compact the surface gently to avoid shifting or chipping edges.

• Lightly mist with water if using polymeric sand to activate binding.

6. Sealing

• Apply a penetrating stone sealer before and after grouting to protect the marble and enhance its natural white tones.

7. Maintenance

• Clean using a pH-neutral stone cleaner.

• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that may damage the sandblasted finish.
