Installation Guide – Avalon White 24″x24″ Sandblasted Marble Paver
Important Advisory
This guide covers only the paver installation phase. Ensure the base is properly prepared by a qualified professional before beginning.
Step 1: Dry Layout & Planning
Dry-lay pavers to check color variation and optimize placement.
Use running bond, modular, or staggered patterns to minimize visible joints and break up large surfaces.
Step 2: Paver Placement
Carefully set each paver onto the prepared bedding layer.
Maintain consistent joint spacing of 1/8″–1/4″.
Tap lightly with a rubber mallet to level and ensure full contact with the base.
Step 3: Cutting & Adjustments
Step 4: Joint Treatment
Fill joints with polymeric sand or a marble-safe joint filler.
Compact the surface gently and remove excess material.
If using polymeric sand, lightly mist to activate binding.
Step 5: Sealing & Maintenance
Apply a penetrating sealer suitable for sandblasted marble.
Reapply every 1–2 years or as needed based on traffic and weather exposure.
Clean with pH-neutral solutions; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners.
Disclaimer
Natural marble pavers vary in tone and texture. Perform a dry layout before installation. For best results, use professional installation techniques and test sealers and joint fillers on a small area first.
