Installation Guide – 6″x12″ Calacatta Honed Marble Tile

Step 1: Surface Preparation – Solid and Level

Clean the substrate thoroughly, removing dust, grease, and debris.
Ensure the surface is flat, with a maximum deviation of 1/8″ over 10 feet.
Apply a waterproofing membrane in wet areas such as showers or backsplashes.

Step 2: Layout Planning – Highlight Natural Veining

Mark layout lines and plan tile orientation according to your chosen pattern (herringbone, brick, or stacked).
Dry-lay tiles to check veining flow and color variation.
Mix tiles from multiple boxes to create a balanced, natural appearance.
Recommended grout spacing: 1/16″ to 1/8″ to complement beveled edges.

Step 3: Mortar Application – White Thin-Set for Strength
