Installation Guide – Silver Mist 6″x24″ 3D Ledgestone Panel (Marble)
Step 1: Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is vertical, clean, dry, and free of debris or paint.
Suitable substrates: cement board, concrete, or masonry block.
Apply a waterproofing membrane in wet areas or for exterior installations.
Verify the surface is flat, level, and structurally stable.
Step 2: Layout & Dry-Fitting
Dry-lay panels to plan the best visual arrangement, highlighting 3D texture and color variations.
Mark level reference lines using a laser or chalk for straight rows.
Start from the center of the bottom row and work upwards.
Stagger vertical seams for a natural, interlocked appearance.
Step 3: Adhesive Application

Apply adhesive with a 1/2″ square-notched trowel to both the wall and the back of each panel (back-buttering).
Press panels firmly into place using a slight sliding motion to ensure full contact.
Work in small sections to prevent adhesive from drying too quickly.
Step 4: Cutting & Fitting
Use a wet saw with a diamond blade designed for natural stone.
Dry-fit corner and edge pieces before applying adhesive.
Handle panels carefully to avoid chipping the 3D relief edges.
Step 5: Finishing
This panel is designed for dry-stack installation – grout is not required.
Clean off excess mortar immediately using a damp sponge.
Allow panels to set undisturbed for 24–48 hours before sealing or exposing to moisture.
Step 6: Sealing
Apply a penetrating natural stone sealer once installation is fully cured.
Avoid topical sealers that create a film or alter the natural appearance.
