Dry-lay sheets to preview color tone and veining flow.
Adjust layout to avoid awkward cuts at edges.
Place 1.5–3 mm spacers between sheets for consistent joints.

Step 3: Adhesive Application – Use Quality Thin-Set

Recommended brands: Mapei, Laticrete, Ardex

Mix thin-set in small batches (usable within 30 minutes).
Apply with the flat side of a 1/4″ notched trowel.
Comb adhesive at a 45° angle for full coverage.
Back-butter each sheet for stronger bonding.

Step 4: Cutting & Fitting – Precision is Key

Cut tiles with a wet saw and a fine diamond blade.
Mark cuts clearly with a pencil before trimming.
Smooth sharp edges with a stone file or rubbing block.
Dry-fit cut pieces before permanent installation.

Step 5: Setting the Tiles – Keep Alignment Perfect

Start from the center and move outward.
Press mesh-mounted sheets firmly into adhesive.
Use spacers to maintain even joints.
Tap lightly with a rubber mallet for leveling.
Remove excess thin-set immediately with a damp sponge.
Allow at least 24 hours curing before grouting.

Step 6: Grouting & Sealing – Final Touch

Use non-sanded grout for honed marble.
Apply diagonally with a rubber float.
Wipe excess grout quickly with a damp sponge.
Buff surface after 15–20 minutes to remove haze.
Allow grout to cure for 72 hours.
Seal with a penetrating marble-safe sealer to protect from stains and moisture.
